Funny Money & Me

Money is as taboo as sex. It’s like a naughty little word that should never be spoken about. Don’t believe me? How much do you make? See, I can feel your disdain from my computer! How dare I ask you about your MONEY right?! That’s exactly my point.

We want it, some of us love it, we need it but we should never be honest about this. That’s why money is ‘funny’ to me. I just find it fascinating how nuts we go over a piece of paper and numbers. We do it because it relates to so many important aspects of our lives. So it’s definitely worth discussing and that’s the reason why I’m sincerely willing to ‘go’ there with todays blog. The objective is to instill some confidence in you to have the right perspective towards money.

Is it wrong to ‘want’ money?

Nope. What you don’t want you certainly will not get. Whilst I am not of the opinion that a person should be obsessed with money, I do think that we have to acknowledge it’s cruciality in our ability to survive. 

When you are honest about your desire to manage, acquire, develop in the skill and science of money then you will work for it.

Ask for what you want

“You have not because you ASK not.” We can be so coy in borrowing, lending, increasing, discussing the topic of money. This is one of the things that I believe holds us back from going to the next level financially.If we are bold enough to say “I need help.” “I want to learn and understand how money works.” “I want/need more money.” “Teach me how to make money.” Imagine what answers will come to us? I feel like this would be the FIRST step in financial development.

I will come back to this topic but the bottom line of today’s blog is ‘lose the shyness’ because its not helping your pocket! YSS
